    Managing Director
    As the managing director of an NDIS service provider, Desire embodies a dynamic fusion of skills and experiences, anchored in a relentless pursuit of social justice.

    Beginning his career in Engineering and IT consultancy, Desire quickly recognized his passion for effecting tangible change in society. Inspired by his volunteer work in African orphanages, he founded 'Art Meets Heart,' a Brisbane-based charity dedicated to empowering underprivileged children worldwide through artistic expression.

    With a staunch commitment to community service, Desire serves on the board of a prominent Non-profit organization in Queensland, further solidifying his dedication to advocacy.

    Shaped by his upbringing in a household where compassion was paramount, thanks to his mother's work as a teacher for the hearing and speech impaired, Desire channels his empathy into his role in disability support services. At Anchored Care, he leverages his expertise in Client Relationship Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Change Management, and Risk and Compliance Management to drive initiatives that prioritize the welfare of individuals with disabilities.

    Desire is renowned for his adeptness in devising streamlined business systems that adhere to regulatory standards while fostering a collaborative environment that propels teams to exceed performance targets.

    Beyond his professional pursuits, Desire shines as an EmCee, commanding attention and radiating charisma at events. He relishes moments spent dancing, traveling, and creating cherished memories with his beloved family, underscoring his dedication to both personal fulfillment and the greater good.

  • Eche

    Director & Service Delivery Manager
    Meet Eche (Echezona - try saying that lol), one of the directors of Anchored Care and currently the Service Delivery Manager.

    She is passionate about anything she puts her mind to, empathetic, kind and loves people.

    Eche has experiences ranging from being a registered nurse to being a chaplain to a disability support worker before Anchored Care was birthed.

    When Eche isn't working, she's cooking/hosting friends and family, dancing, reading or listening to music/books/podcasts, window shopping etc.

    One of Eche's key goals is to see that services are delivered excellently in a personalised way.

  • Cam

    General Manager

    Originally trained as a baker, Cam found his calling in the community services sector right after completing my apprenticeship. Over the past 14 years, He had the opportunity to rise to leadership positions, including State Manager roles for three states. In these roles, He led and managed multiple teams, ensuring a cohesive culture and alignment with the vision, regardless of growth. His extensive experience honed his skills in strategic planning, financial management, and regulatory compliance, essential for navigating the complex landscape of NDIS services provision.

    Personal Insight:

    My drive stems from a genuine desire to create a sustainable NDIS framework and ensure everyone has access to quality support. I'm all about empowering our community and nurturing our workforce through training and career growth. I'm not a fan of competition; I believe in collaboration for the greater good. On a lighter note, I'm a Ford enthusiast, and nothing beats cruising around in my Mustang on weekends while enjoying precious moments with my family.

  • PJ

    Senior Care Coordinator

    PJ started his career as a production oversight after graduating with his degree in audio engineering and sound production. He has also been a piano and guitar tutor for the last 2 years but has always been passionate about the caring for people.

    His passion towards caring comes from his upbringing as a Samoan. From his early stages in life as a kid, Pj was taught to care for people around him and always show hospitality to all people. As well as that he has also been involved in many different community and charity projects that have helped to impact the local community.

    Pj started out at Anchored Care as a support worker and very quickly became someone that almost every participant he worked with wanted back. And now a year in to working with Anchored Care it was clear that he has much more to offer and  now has joined the HQ team as the Care & Support Coordinator.

    Compliance Officer
    My background for last 10 years has been in Administration with an emphasis on Compliance and Procurement.

    I love to organise things. My passion is having the ability to support my team/co-workers by keeping all the behind-the-scenes systems set up efficiently and user-friendly so that the team can keep their focus on delivering excellent personalised care.

    I have always felt that one of my strengths is to support both my co-workers and the participants to feel engaged with our goals irrespective of background, age, race and religion.

    Anchored Care appealed to me with their integrity and dedication in striving to bring the best service to the participants with a personal delivery that makes one feel they have their best interests at heart, and they do this all with a smile.

    Anchored Care excites me in a way that I believe has our staff and participants first and foremost as their main concern and they bring a passion and a good bit of laughter with this professional integrity.

    With over six years of dedicated service in the Disability Industry, my journey has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the disability housing sector. This extensive experience, coupled with a background in senior administration, office management, and customer service roles, underscores my readiness to excel in the role of Community Engagement Officer at Anchored Care.

    HR Generalist

    Cath brings over three decades of extensive experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Training, and Administration to her role as an HR Generalist. Her journey began in the dynamic realm of Information Technology before transitioning to a fulfilling career spanning 37 years, with 30 of those years dedicated to the Not-for-Profit Sector. Within this sector, Catherine has contributed her expertise to various domains including Employer organizations, Early Childhood services, and most recently, as a dedicated member of an NDIS provider.

    Beyond her professional endeavors, Catherine is a devoted animal lover, cherishing her two canine companions, Queenie and George. Her enthusiasm for connecting with others is evident in her passion for assisting those in need. When she's not immersed in her work, Catherine finds solace in the world of audiobooks, particularly indulging in thrilling crime narratives. Additionally, she enjoys crafting jewelry as a creative outlet and has recently discovered a newfound love for gardening.
